Job Title: Assistant Landfill Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Assistant Landfill Manager at Veolia. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Facility Manager in overseeing landfill operations.

Job Description:

  • Assist the Facility Manager in planning and executing daily operations.
  • Utilise plant, personnel, and resources to optimise waste disposal processes.
  • Monitor and report on budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funds.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in landfill management or a related field.
  • Possession of relevant certifications or willingness to obtain COTC certification.
  • Environmental science or equivalent qualification.
  • A valid driving license is essential for this position.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • An estimated salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits package.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
