About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Respiratory Medicine team at West Middlesex Hospital. As a Band 7 Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in leading our Occupational Therapy services and developing a more integrated approach to hospital discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical skills in the assessment and management of patients with complex health and social needs.
  • Lead the operational management and clinical leadership of the Respiratory Medicine Occupational Therapy team.
  • Develop and implement individual occupational therapy programs and treatment protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate occupational therapy treatment to ensure effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive discharge plans.

Requirements
  • MSc, BSc, or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Evidence of CPD and relevant postgraduate courses.
  • Experience working as an autonomous practitioner at Band 6 level in an acute physical hospital setting.
  • Experience of working in the NHS in a specialist Older Adults service.
