Occupational Therapist for Adults with Learning Disabilities

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to adults with learning disabilities in the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver a community-based learning disability occupational therapy service to adults with learning disabilities living in the community within the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.
- Take responsibility for an appropriate clinical caseload, working in partnership with people using the service and their carers/support network as appropriate.
- Facilitate positive engagement, development of skills, maintenance of skills, or adapting the environment to enable those using the service to live as independently as possible and lead balanced lives as valued members of their local community.
- Promote the role of occupational therapy within the team and with wider agencies.
- A strong team ethos of personal and professional development where we value sharing our knowledge & skills within the team.
- Opportunities to access both internal and external training in line with the personal development plan.
- Direct supervision, peer supervision, and regular appraisal.
- Registered with the Health Professions Council (HCPC)
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work as an occupational therapist
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities
- Experience of working in the community
