We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Education Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a GCSE Subject Matter Expert, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in their academic journey, particularly in Maths, English, and Science.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the student's needs and ability, as well as managing challenging behaviour and building strong relationships with pupils.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • QTS or experience working with secondary-aged children
  • Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • A kind, calm, and patient approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
  • Safeguarding training
