Job Opportunity for a Dedicated Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Randstad. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Classroom Teacher: Assist the classroom teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to meet the needs of students.
  • Individualized Support: Provide tailored support to students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and promote academic achievement.
  • Classroom Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active learning and social interaction.
  • Preparation and Organization: Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources to support lesson delivery.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher to inform instruction.
  • Supervision: Supervise students during break times and extracurricular activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Classroom Management: Assist with classroom management and maintaining discipline to create a productive learning environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the wider school community and promoting a sense of belonging.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Qualifications: A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Patience and Enthusiasm: Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in supporting children's education.
  • Child Development: Basic understanding of child development and educational practices.
  • DBS Check: Possession of an Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Eligibility: Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
