Senior Naval Architect Position

Our company is offering a salary range of £80,000 - £100,000 per year for this exciting opportunity.

Job Overview

This role involves leading various aspects of naval architecture, including stability, classification, and vessel concept development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering project management and a passion for innovation.

Key Tasks
  • Take charge of stability and classification efforts, utilizing advanced tools.
  • Promote innovative vessel design, focusing on performance and efficiency.
  • Deliver precise weight estimates, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Effectively manage engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Apply predictive modeling skills to optimize vessel performance.
  • Design custom software solutions using Python or comparable languages.
Essential Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of stability, classification, and Paramarine applications.
  • Proven experience in developing vessel concepts and estimating weights.
  • Familiarity with hull development processes is desirable.
  • Strong track record in engineering project management.
  • Excellent predictive modeling skills, particularly in powering.
  • Ability to create customized toolsets in Python or equivalent programming languages.
