About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Ship Design and Engineering Expert to join our team at Gold Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and engineering surface ship platforms and naval base facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Naval Architecture or a related field and experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor. Additionally, they should be familiar with naval architectural software, preferably PARAMARINE, and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and engineer surface ship platforms
  • Design naval base facilities
  • Conduct stability analyses using Paramarine software
  • Lend expertise to through-life maintenance and support of ships

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 per annum, with benefits including a 14% pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, and free shares. This role is based in Portsmouth, with 3 days on-site work and 2 days working from home.
