Associate Director - Building Structures

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team of structural engineers in Central London. As a key member of our building structures department, you will be responsible for managing and delivering projects, working closely with experienced directors who will provide guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team management and leadership
  • Business development and winning new projects
  • Preparation of feasibility studies and concept designs
  • Design calculations and contract document preparation
  • Supervision of staff and project management
  • Client-facing skills and relationship building

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of practical design experience in a high-calibre UK structures design consultancy
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision
