About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Specialist Teacher to join our team at a specialist SEMH school in Guildford. The role involves working with students who require tailored support and interventions due to social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Implement trauma-informed approaches to support students' emotional well-being and mental health.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each student's development.
- Develop a nurturing approach to teaching, creating a safe and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Primary or Secondary qualified
• Experience working with students with SEMH or similar needs
• Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
