Tax Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at a thriving firm of accountants in Macclesfield. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of tax accountants, reviewing and completing corporate tax returns, and providing a full suite of compliance and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of tax accountants and work in support of the Tax Partners.
- Review and complete corporate tax returns and accounts.
- Manage end of year returns and payroll, including P11ds.
- Oversee and develop tax return processes for the department.
- Manage workflow and ensure deadlines are met.
- Meet with clients to provide tax advisory services.
- Encourage, support, and mentor junior team members, overseeing professional development and championing customer service excellence.
- Troubleshoot and liaise with HMRC.
- Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients.
- Offer first-class communication internally and externally, both written and verbal.
