Service Charge Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Charge Accountant to join our team at FirstPort. As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Year-End Accounts: Ensure timely delivery of year-end accounts to residents, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Smooth Accounting Process: Carry out necessary transactions to ensure a seamless accounting process for accounts, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Quality Service Delivery: Provide a high-quality service to customers and clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Department Productivity: Contribute to department productivity metrics, delivering results that meet or exceed targets.
- Audit Process: Liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process, providing the best possible outcome for our customers and clients.
- Proactive Approach: Adopt a proactive approach to audit and accounts, identifying areas of concern and working with analysts and managers to address them.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Service Charge Accountant who is passionate about delivering exceptional results. You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting environment and be studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, or CIMA).
You will be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will be customer-focused, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
