About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Service Charge Accountant to join our team at FirstPort. As a key member of our Service Charge Accounting Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver year-end accounts to residents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Carry out transactions to ensure a smooth accounting process for accounts
  • Resolve issues on accounts and provide a high-quality service to customers
  • Meet department productivity metrics and contribute to team and organisational goals
  • Liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process and provide the best possible outcome for our customers
  • Take ownership of your own development and contribute positively to the team through creative ideas and feedback
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) and has a minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting environment. You will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
