Job Description

The Audiologist role at Chime involves delivering diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services for NHS patients. This position requires precise audiological skills, such as hearing testing and hearing aid fitting, and involves physical tasks like carrying equipment. The Audiologist must comply with Chime's Infection Control Policies and take responsibility for their health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic and rehabilitative regimes for adults and children
  • Travel to locality clinics and conduct domiciliary visits
  • Supervise audiology trainees and manage stock usage
  • Communicate complex information to patients and healthcare professionals

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • BSC in Audiology or equivalent qualification
  • UK Driving License
  • Ability to demonstrate a good command of the English language
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team

Salary and Benefits

£29,970 (Band 5) - £26,530 (Band 4), depending on qualifications and registration status. Benefits include membership of Perkbox, offering a broad range of discounts, and free life insurance.
