Our client is a leading specialist distribution company with a large workforce and extensive logistics network. They are renowned for their innovative approach and commitment to delivering premium services to customers.
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Implementation Director to manage the implementation of system and process changes across our logistics network. The successful candidate will ensure operational readiness and smooth handover to business as usual.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans to ensure successful implementation.
- Manage risks and issues, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
- Measure the success of implementations and report on outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in implementation processes.
- Support the wider logistics team as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge in logistics operations.
- Proven experience in project management and implementation (Prince2 or similar).
- Prior experience of WMS implementation is an advantage (Manhattan is preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Flexibility to travel and stay away during the week (2/3 nights when required).
