Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Implementation and Operations Director to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations team, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of system and process changes across our logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement detailed project plans to ensure operational readiness and smooth handover to business as usual.
- Manage risks and issues, ensuring mitigation plans are in place to minimize disruptions to our operations.
- Measure the success of implementations and report on outcomes to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in implementation processes to enhance our logistics operations.
- Support the wider logistics team as required to ensure seamless delivery of our services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in project management and implementation, with a strong understanding of logistics operations.
- Knowledge of WMS implementation, preferably with experience of Manhattan WMS.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to travel and stay away from home during the week, with occasional nationwide travel.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per year, a car or car allowance, and a healthy work-life balance with generous holiday leave. Our company culture values continuous learning and development, and we offer opportunities for growth and professional development.
