We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Administrator to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Mortgage Advisors and ensuring the smooth progression of mortgage cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process mortgages through to legal completion and beyond, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  2. Conduct research tasks for Advisers on relevant mortgage products, staying up-to-date with industry developments and changes.
  3. Liaise with Mortgage Advisers to ensure appraisal on the progress of mortgage cases and resolve any queries arising.
  4. Monitor client emails and account management of repeat clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely responses.
  5. Act as the first point of contact for queries from clients, lenders, and conveyancers, providing clear and concise information.
  6. Perform general office administration duties, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and answering phone calls.
  7. Support with marketing activities as required, helping to promote our services and attract new clients.
  8. Update and maintain systems and files, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  9. Collaborate with advisors to ensure all activities meet compliance and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

  1. Proven administration experience within a mortgage or financial services environment, with a strong understanding of industry procedures and regulations.
  2. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  3. Excellent computer skills, including database setup and maintenance, Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  4. Attention to detail and experience of working with prescribed systems and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  5. Self-motivated and professional individual, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
