Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to provide exceptional veterinary care to animals in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

This role involves performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on various animals, conducting surgical procedures as needed, and collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients. You will also provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations and diagnostics to determine the health status of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on animal care and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Requirements:
A Veterinary degree from a recognized institution and a valid veterinary license to practice in the UK are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently, are also required. A compassionate and caring approach to animals is crucial.
