We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in a vibrant and growing veterinary practice in Ashbourne, Derbyshire. As part of our dynamic and collaborative environment, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while making a meaningful difference in their lives and those of their owners.
About the Role
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals, utilizing your expertise and skills to ensure the highest level of care.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries, working closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to guarantee comprehensive care for patients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient, providing guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress, ensuring seamless communication among team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A valid veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- A valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- A compassionate and caring approach to animals, prioritizing their welfare and well-being above all else.
