About Our Client

Our client, a prominent construction and plant hire firm, is seeking a skilled People & Culture Administrator to join their team through Spencer - Richardson.

The Role

To maintain their momentum, the HR team requires another administrator to provide essential support to business units and cultivate a positive culture across teams.

Job Requirements
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle, encompassing contract issuance, onboarding, training, and offboarding.
  • Create and distribute accurate contracts and necessary correspondence.
  • Efficiently coordinate and distribute new starter packs at all levels.
  • Maintain accurate records within the HR system, ensuring compliance with legal, necessary, and correct documentation.
  • Monitor probationary periods, conduct DBS and RTW checks, and collaborate with the payroll team to ensure smooth new starter setups, change reporting, and bonus administration.
  • Provide primary support for people-related inquiries and requests.
  • Effectively manage the team's email inbox.
  • Offer support to the wider HR team in large-scale projects and administrative tasks or research when required.
Essential Skills
  • Required Attributes:
  • Previous experience supporting a People Team, preferably as an administrator, coordinator, or advisor.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, allowing the handling of sensitive information with confidence.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and ISO 27001 regulations.
  • A genuine team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • A solutions-focused and proactive problem solver.
  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards desirable.
