About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Intelligence Analyst to join our team in the Public Health Division. As a key member of our Knowledge & Intelligence function, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality work that aims to increase our understanding of health inequalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and lead on core pieces of work, including the delivery of major public health reports and the monitoring of health outcomes and inequalities.
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytical applications, such as PowerBI, R, and Stata, to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Liaise with council and local NHS colleagues to deliver overlapping health & wellbeing priorities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality work that meets the needs of our stakeholders.
About You

You will possess expert core public health competencies, including epidemiology, needs assessment, evaluation, and strong partnership skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and written skills are essential. You will have experience of using basic analytical applications, such as MS Excel, and evidence of using more advanced applications.
