About the Role

The Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in a rotational post. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the chance to work in a variety of settings across the borough of Camden, including in-patient wards, patient homes, therapy gyms, and community facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide evidence-based, client-goal-focused rehabilitation in a variety of specialist areas, including older people, falls, dementia, and delirium.
  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, participating in clinical projects and service developments, and contributing to the development of a high-quality, efficient, and effective Physiotherapy Service.
  • To provide supervision to rehabilitation assistants and students, and to participate in the development of staff through informal and formal supervision.
  • To be professionally and legally accountable for all work undertaken, and to work within the standards and guidelines of the team, the Trust, CSP, and HPC code of ethics.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Registered with HCPC
  • Experience of working in the UK or a similar health economy as a Physiotherapist
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility, problem-solving, initiative, and leadership
  • Demonstrates clinical and professional development
  • Understanding of the principles of multi-disciplinary teamwork
  • Understanding of the problems of disability and its effects
  • Awareness of developments in the NHS, service delivery, and the Long Term Plan
