About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Monitoring Engineer to join our team at Brush Transformers. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in building physics engineering and contribute to the delivery of sustainable buildings.

Your role will involve working closely with our building physics engineering team to provide optimal building design solutions. You will use your expertise in IESVE software and BREEAM knowledge to conduct analysis and produce reports to support the delivery of sustainability metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and Design
    • Deliver sustainability analysis and reporting.
    • Conduct detailed options appraisals and produce reports justifying recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Industry Knowledge
    • Work closely with clients and design teams to provide optimal building design solutions through iterative and parametric simulations.
    • Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge of guidance, regulations, and standards.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Develop effective working relationships with the wider design team to ensure the whole construction project delivers the client's needs.
Requirements
  • A graduate qualification in either building services, architectural engineering, or sustainability related degree is essential.
  • Working knowledge of IESVE software, preferably accredited.
  • BREEAM knowledge, preferably accredited.
  • Experience of a range of construction projects.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.
