We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Food Technology Teacher to lead our Food Education department in a high-achieving secondary school. As a Food Education Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative lesson plans that inspire students to develop essential life skills and a love for cooking and nutrition.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to take on a leadership role and make a real impact on the education sector. You will work closely with colleagues to develop a curriculum that meets the needs of all students, and provide guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans in Food Technology across KS3 and KS4.
  • Lead a team of teachers to deliver high-quality lessons and ensure excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Work with colleagues to develop a curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Food Technology.
  • Leadership experience and a proven track record of success in education.
