McDonald's UK (Corporate) is seeking a highly skilled Nutrition and Food Safety Director to lead our efforts in delivering both the McDonald's UK & I Public Health Strategy and Food Safety priorities.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the delivery of the Public Health Strategy through collaboration with Senior Management to ensure alignment of plans, priorities, and implementation.
  • Drive business Food Safety priorities, ensuring the correct stakeholders are engaged.
  • Manage Food Safety projects from conception to launch, aligning closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Investigate any food safety non-compliance and incidences, demonstrating a sound understanding of regulatory requirements within the UK and Ireland related to Nutrition, Labelling, Allergens, Food Safety, and Food Law.
  • Liaise with Primary Authority, building and maintaining a collaborative relationship, and ensuring our provision of Allergen information is up to date, legally compliant, and customer-centric.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related science.
  • UK Registered Nutritionist.
  • HACCP level 3.
  • Extensive experience within the food industry in a nutrition, technical, or regulatory role, driving strategy and large projects.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Experience of UK & Ireland (EU) food policy, nutrition policy, and labelling legislation.
