Job Title: Audio Visual Show Control Systems Engineer

As a skilled Audio Visual Show Control Systems Engineer at Holovis, you will be responsible for designing and programming world-class solutions for themed entertainment projects. Your expertise will be crucial in creating show control systems that integrate with real-time systems, including show timing, HMI control, and large-scale projection, Direct-view LED, and immersive audio systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing Audio Visual control systems for themed entertainment spaces
  • Creating Wireframes, HMIs, and GUIs that meet client specs and system requirements
  • Programming show control systems, including Alcorn McBride, Medialon, and Q-Sys, and integrating them with Ride Control Systems and Ride Show Networks
  • Developing network architectures that meet system demands, working with client networking specialists
  • Writing functional specifications on the control system to ensure performance expectations are met
  • Creating custom control code and modules for bleeding-edge AV equipment
  • Commissioning and integrating systems into attractions throughout the commissioning and test and adjust phase
  • Training and handing over systems to technical services personnel and system owners

Requirements:

  • Strong technical understanding of controlling large-scale projection, large format LED, immersive audio, and AV show control systems
  • History of show control integration into successful Audio Visual projects
  • Related engineering, electronics, or programming degree or professional equivalent
  • Solid understanding of programming products from Alcorn McBride, Medialon, and Q-Sys
  • CTS or CTS-D preferred but not essential
