Mental Health Specialist Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist Practitioner to join our team in the Norfolk and Waveney Advice, Support and Access Children and Young people's Mental Health Service.
The successful candidate will have a high level of clinical expertise in the mental and emotional health needs of children, young people, and their families, covering 0-25 years of age.
Key responsibilities include completing full assessments via telephone and other forms of digital technology, taking accountability for clinical decisions, and demonstrating a high level of clinical judgement.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and knowledge of child and young people's mental health needs and local services, with the ability to assess and care plan for children, young people, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
They will also be able to support colleagues within the team, especially in assessment of current need, risk, and care planning.
Contribution to production and maintenance of digital resources and promotion of these within the service and with other stakeholders is also a key aspect of the role.
The successful candidate will be expected to work a rotating weekly shift pattern, comprising of an 8 am - 4pm shift one week and 10 am - 6pm the alternate week.
Key Requirements- Registered Nurse, registered Occupational Therapist, social worker
- Degree level study or equivalent
- Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to the role
- Clinical Masters or equivalent experience in mental health
