About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your technical and functional expertise to drive process improvements, manage key finance-related projects, and ensure compliance with audit and control requirements. You'll be working closely with users, finance teams, and technical teams to deliver tailored technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and functional support for Oracle EBS modules (AR, AP, GL, PO) across global users in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
  • Lead the resolution of P1 issues, day-to-day BAU support, and system enhancements.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to increase system efficiency, reduce manual errors, and ensure compliance with audit and control requirements.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance-related projects.
  • Manage month-end and year-end activities, including revenue processing, invoice generation, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with users to understand business needs and objectives, delivering tailored technical solutions.
  • Provide production support, analyse support tickets, and troubleshoot custom processes, APIs, and reports.
  • Played a key role in Oracle upgrades (e.g., 12.1 to 12.2), testing and modifying over 200 custom objects, and providing post-go-live support during critical periods.
  • Drive data migration efforts and system integration projects, including mergers and acquisitions, handling migration of open invoices, credit memos, and employee data.
  • Configure Oracle Receivables setups (transaction types, sources, receipt methods, accounting rules, system options) and manage AP invoice and supplier migrations using interfaces and templates (More4apps).
  • Support reporting through Apex, as well as payroll and exchange rate interfaces.
  • Closely collaborate with DBAs and Unix teams to ensure code migration, system performance monitoring, and issue resolution in production.
  • Maintain code versions and manage repositories using GitLab.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical and functional expertise in Oracle EBS modules (AR, AP, GL, PO).
  • Experience in handling global user support and managing production issues (P1).
  • Proven track record in delivering system upgrades, data migrations, and integration projects.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and provide effective technical solutions.
  • Experience with More4apps templates, data loaders, and GITLAB repositories.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with users, finance teams, and technical teams.

We estimate that this role will offer a salary range between £60,000 to £90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. If you are an ambitious and skilled professional looking for a challenging role, please apply.
