Job Summary

Community Diagnostic Centres

We are seeking pioneering and innovative MRI Radiographers to join our team and experience a new way of delivering a varied workload in our Community Diagnostic Centres.

As an MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for managing daily workload, scanning community patients for MRI, and ensuring high standards of patient care and high-quality images.

You will be employed by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and will work in our new state-of-the-art Siemens Sola MRI Scanner, supporting the CDC service across the Humber Coast and Vale region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily workload and scanning community patients for MRI
  • Ensuring high standards of patient care and high-quality images
  • Working in our new CDC Development in Hull city Centre
  • Supporting the HNY Mobile MRI service
  • Participating in CPD and developing skills in MRI and imaging

Requirements include:

  • BSc or DCR(R) in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Post-graduate qualification in imaging (for Band 7 posts)
  • Previous MRI experience (for Band 7 section manager and specialist Radiographer posts)
