About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer to join our team at Mpac Lambert, where you will play a key role in supporting our sales team and delivering technical solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the sales team in converting opportunities into revenue across all products and services.
  • Develop and deliver technical solutions and roadmaps to meet customer needs.
  • Deliver technical presentations and project costings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage tender delivery and support project teams during implementation phases.
  • Actively build relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Proven understanding of general engineering, machine building processes, and project lifecycle.
  • Technical competence in software programs such as Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience at a senior strategic level with commercial awareness.
  • Coaching and team management skills.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Relevant degree or vocational education in an engineering discipline.
  • Good commercial acumen and understanding of market pricing and competitor influence.
