About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Mpac Lambert. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams, resolving issues and implementing solutions.
  • Commissioning and Maintenance: Perform commissioning and maintenance activities on customer sites, ensuring equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Software Development: Design and develop PLC code for various automation platforms, including Rockwell and Siemens.
  • Customer Training: Provide training and support to customers on the use and maintenance of our equipment.
  • Commercial Awareness: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: HNC, HND, or BSC in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Proven experience in software development, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial automation systems.
  • Skills: Proficient in Rockwell and Siemens programming platforms, with experience in PLC code development and integration of robotics into automation solutions.
Working Relationships
  • Reports to Service Team Lead.
  • Working relationships with: Aftermarket Department, Design team, Departmental managers, Customers, Suppliers, & Institutions.
