Job Title: Early Years Childcare Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Childcare Training Specialist, working closely with Apprentices.
Estimated Salary: £30,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to learners, ensuring they meet the requirements of the Apprenticeship Standards in Early Years Childcare up to Level 5. This will involve managing a caseload of learners, conducting regular observations to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver full Apprenticeship Standards in Early Years Childcare up to Level 5
- Manage a caseload of learners, conducting remote and face-to-face observations
- Ensure timely reviews and completions
- Support learners through the End Point Assessment Process
- Organize and maintain documentation on learners' progress
- Provide guidance and support to learners
- Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, reviews, learner progression, quality paperwork, and general administration
Requirements:
- A relevant Assessors award; D32/D33, A1, TAQA qualification is essential.
- Experience of supporting/assessing learners is desirable, but not essential.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Nursery Manager is required.
- Holding a Level 2 English and Maths/GCSE equivalents is mandatory.
- A Level 5 qualification in Early Years Childcare would be an advantage.
- Delivering on-the-job training to staff and organizational skills are highly valued.
- Confident communication, professionalism, and the ability to inspire and motivate individuals are necessary.
- Flexibility with travel is expected.
