Repairs Inspector Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Repairs Inspector to join our team at Service Care Solutions - Construction. As a Repairs Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive a consistently high-quality repairs service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Regional Repair Lead, Surveyors, and Local Officers to manage responsive repairs, kitchen, and bathroom referrals, as well as planned and cyclical referrals.
  • Provide clear and concise diagnoses for reactive repairs, preparing reports in easy-to-understand terms, along with specifications and recommendations.
  • Oversee a post-inspection regime for your assigned area, ensuring that works are carried out to a good standard and taking ownership where necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Manage an audit/oversight regime for repairs, verifying that contractors comply with H&S obligations and adhere to our code of conduct.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the repairs sector, with a focus on pre, post-audit, and quality inspections.
  • Hold a recognized HND technical qualification, such as building surveying or membership with the CIOB.
