Job Title: Sustainability and Social Value Manager

Language Empire is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability and Social Value Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our company operates responsibly and ethically, while making a positive impact on society.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote sustainable practices and enhance our social value.
  • Oversee our environmental impact and develop partnerships with local communities.
  • Work closely with our diverse range of interpreters and translators to promote inclusivity and diversity.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage sustainability and social value initiatives.
  • Support internal and external communication of sustainability and social value to improve awareness, engagement, and participation.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the Social Value Act.
  • Passionate about sustainability and social value, with a strong background in corporate sustainability.
  • Excellent communication, people, and influencing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and supportively across different functions.
  • Proven experience in social impact and sustainability management, preferably within the healthcare sector or related fields.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
  • Self-motivated, with a desire to consistently improve processes, documents, and practice.
  • Knowledge and understanding of public procurement and competitive bidding requirements in the context of social value and sustainability delivery.
