We are seeking an experienced Africa Travel Specialist to join our team in Brighton. As a key member of our small team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to customers, creating dream holidays, and building professional relationships with overseas suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and provide expert advice on Africa travel options.
- Create personalized holiday quotes and work towards sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the booking and after-sales process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with overseas suppliers to expand our product portfolio.
- Contribute to content creation for our website and marketing campaigns.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in travel sales, preferably with a focus on East and Southern Africa.
- First-hand experience of travel to Southern and/or East Africa with strong destination knowledge.
- Proven success in a target-based travel sales role.
- Results-driven and proactive with a motivation to learn and expand your product range.
- Commercially astute with the ability to identify new opportunities.
- Genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload, with adaptability and multitasking skills.
- Resilience and a passion for travel and adventure.
- Basic salary of up to £36k plus bonus.
- Hybrid working arrangement, equivalent to 4 days per week in a friendly and supportive team.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
