Role Overview

Southern Water is seeking a skilled Instrumentation, Control, and Automation Technician to join our Wastewater Treatment Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing instrumentation systems, ensuring our equipment meets regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair instrumentation systems, including flow, level, pressure, temperature, and chemical systems
  • Diagnose and modify instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Install new instrumentation systems and equipment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operation of our treatment facilities

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications, such as Level 3 NVQ or instrumentation and control experience
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of automation and electronics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to take on new challenges
