Lead Business Analyst

This thriving and expanding organization is seeking a seasoned Lead Business Analyst to become a vital part of their delivery team on a permanent basis.
Your primary responsibility will be to guide and nurture a high-performing team of Business Analysts while also pinpointing opportunities to enhance the business analysis service.
With your expertise, you will be equipped to elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of the team through the implementation of strategic changes.
The current opening is within a large organization that has consistently achieved growth for over a decade and boasts a substantial project pipeline for the foreseeable future.
As the Lead Business Analyst, you will ensure that the business analysis activities of the team adhere to best practices and industry standards, delivering tangible benefits to stakeholders.
This role allows for a maximum of 2 days per week in the office, with the preferred location being their head office.
Compensation Package:
Bonus opportunities
35-hour work week with flexible working arrangements
25 days of annual leave + 5 days buy/sell + public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of Business Analysts
- Evaluating and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of current processes and, where necessary, documenting the 'As-Is', 'To Be', and 'Gap'
- Assisting in translating complex business and technical issues into comprehensible concepts for diverse audiences
- Collaborating with various functions within the organization to facilitate the implementation of new or improved operational processes, systems, and tools
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role
- Experience in Team Leadership / Management / Mentoring
- Proficiency in analyzing system requirements, business process modeling/mapping (using BPMN), methodology development, data analysis and modeling, and wireframes
- Proven experience in creating Use Cases, User Stories, Activity Diagrams, and documenting Acceptance Criteria using MoSCoW
- Expertise in Process and Business Improvement
- Experience in developing storyboards and/or proof of concepts
- Operational experience
- Familiarity with Agile / Waterfall methodologies
