Job Title: Games Design Teacher

Role:

To teach on L3 UAL; Creative Practice; Art Design & Communication (Games Art)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students on the L3 UAL Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in digital arts and games art
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes and improvements

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of formal elements of art and design, narrative theory, traditional drawing and illustration, 2D digital illustration, and 3D modeling and animation
  • Ability to teach software packages such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Character Animator, Animate, Dimensions, Surface Painter, and After Effects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Working Hours and Rate:

37 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £25-£35 depending on experience
