Salary: £13.56ph

Hours: Full Time - 7am - 7pm 3-4 x shifts per week to include alternate weekends

Location: Edwinstowe, NG21 9PA

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Nightingale Nursing & Care Home in Edwinstowe. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care to residents, including assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and promoting independence.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and promoting a culture of respect and empathy within the team.
  • Conduct daily medication rounds, document accurately, and ensure high standards of care are maintained.
  • Participate in shift handovers, ensuring seamless communication and continuity of care.
  • Identify and address any concerns or issues, escalating to the Home Manager as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant in a residential/nursing home setting.
  • Awareness of Person-Centred Care Planning principles.
  • Ability to work under pressure, lead by example, and promote a positive team culture.
