About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at The Fleece. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading our team to deliver exceptional customer service and hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a diverse team to achieve sales and profit targets
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Manage payroll budgets and rotas to ensure effective resource allocation
  • Maintain and report on all business records as required
  • Take responsibility for all business operations when on shift and ensure the team can operate in your absence
  • Focus on improving team performance and achieving targets
  • Be hands-on with F&B service, looking after guests and managing room bookings and enquiries
Requirements
  • Proactive and good communicator with excellent leadership skills
  • Business acumen and experience with preparing P&Ls
  • Ability to set measurable, challenging goals for team members and find ways to improve staff knowledge and approach
  • Experience of delivering technical training and development content
  • Ability to identify ways that business strategy, customer profile, culture and constraints influence the development of a creative, profitable and competitive product
