About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Strategy Lead to join our Jameson Strategy, Transformation and Partnerships team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the delivery of our transformational portfolio and leading complex projects across our mental health and learning disability services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enable the delivery of our transformational portfolio, including project leading complex areas and providing dedicated work on strategic developments.
  • Directly manage project managers who are delivering transformational change projects for adults and older adults, and for people with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Provide strategic direction, design, and delivery of programmes relating to older adult mental health, learning disability, and autism pathways.
  • Work flexibly across other areas as needed in response to transformation priorities, including working across internal and external partners.
  • Hold complex programmes, drive delivery at a senior level, and delegate work to wider team members to enable successful implementation.

Person Specification

  • Relevant experience of working in a project environment, preferably in the NHS or a similar environment.
  • Experience of managing and motivating staff, delivering projects within clinical services, and leading and delivering high-profile Mental Health Five Year Forward View/Long Term Plan objectives.
  • Knowledge of programme and project management, the NHS Long Term Plan, the mental health implementation plan, and community mental health framework.
  • Ability to mentor, team build, and prioritise, as well as provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information.
  • Experience and knowledge to plan over short-term, medium-term, and long-term timeframes, and ability to identify and resolve delivery challenges.
