Lane Clark & Peacock's Health Analytics practice provides analytical and research services for organisations across the life sciences and healthcare industries. Our team brings together clinicians, statisticians, epidemiologists, health economists, bioinformaticians, and health data scientists to deliver new solutions to the fundamental challenges in health.

Our team's mission is to help move health systems from importers of illness to exporters of health and to support our clients to deliver value to patients. We have already developed a track record for leading approaches to real-world evidence generation, health economic modelling, evidence strategy, medical affairs, and genetics.

We are seeking a Statistician with a focus on Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) projects to join our team of experts and strengthen our capabilities in this area. You will play a key role in providing statistics expertise across the department's projects, with a focus on HEOR projects. We are looking for someone who can bring scientific rigor to statistical analyses and who is motivated to work at the cutting edge of methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide statistics expertise across the department's projects, with a focus on HEOR projects
  • Apply statistical expertise to the analysis of clinical trial data and real-world data
  • Contribute to various stages of projects, including quality control and supporting the development of other team members
  • Contribute to developing innovative technology and advanced methods capabilities in this space
Requirements:
  • A 2:1 degree or better in a numerate or science subject, a health- or statistics-related Masters degree or PhD is desirable
  • Demonstrable experience in a statistical role, with consultancy experience preferable
  • An excellent grounding in relevant methods and analytical best practice with demonstrated experience in conceptualising and delivering previous studies and projects
  • Experience of analysing patient-level data from clinical trials and using survival analysis methods is desirable
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and be highly competent in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Programming experience in R or Python is highly desirable
