We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our thriving primary school community at Reeson Education. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education, fostering development among pupils, and promoting inclusivity.

The successful candidate will possess a HLTA qualification or equivalent, experience in education, particularly in classroom support roles, and strong communication skills. A flexible approach and a proactive attitude towards supporting various aspects of school life are essential.

We offer a competitive daily rate of £140 per day, depending on experience, as well as access to continuous professional development and mentoring opportunities. Our inclusive culture values diversity and prioritises the well-being of its staff and pupils.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting curriculum delivery through assisting teachers and working collaboratively to meet pupil needs
  • Leading learning sessions by planning and delivering small group interventions or whole-class lessons in the teacher's absence
  • Fostering development among pupils by providing targeted support to help them overcome challenges and succeed academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Collaborating with staff to implement effective classroom strategies and behaviour plans
  • Contributing to lesson planning, preparation of resources, and assessment of pupils' progress
