Job Title: Software Engineering Programme Manager

Join our team as a Software Engineering Programme Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical skills. As a key member of our Avionics Integration team, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of our avionics systems and ensuring seamless integration of software and hardware components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation, update, and execution of the avionics engineering programme on behalf of the head of department.
  • Hold weekly programme review meetings with AVS-SS Sub Cam teams to update the programme directly with teams via these sessions, including Jira milestone dates.
  • Support the Project Management team in updating OPP in the EV progress cycle.
  • Manage live activities through the Jira toolset.
  • Lead change activity for programme change triggers.
  • Provide briefings to EF Operations and contract team programmes to set context and key drivers.
  • Identify external dependencies with required by dates to be advertised externally and forecasts reported back internally.
  • Escalate dependency issues through established routes.
  • Coordinate responses to externally programme construct changes and resolve differences in approach with interfacing organisations.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills across a range of engineering skills and disciplines.
  • Demonstrable experience of stakeholder management at multiple organisational levels.
