Job Title: Underground Utility Specialist

A prominent engineering consultancy is looking for a skilled Underground Utility Specialist to join their team nationwide. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to identify and locate underground utilities, including gas, water, electricity, and telecommunications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough utility surveys using advanced survey equipment and software.
  • Analyze survey data to identify and locate underground utilities and other services.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and drawings using industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of survey data, including field notes and digital information.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as Surveying, Engineering, or Geography.
  • A professional qualification, such as Chartered Surveyor status.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.

Compensation Package:

This role offers a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and health care assistance.
