Job Title: Infrastructure Locator

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Underground Utility Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will conduct surveys to identify and locate underground utilities, including gas, water, electricity, and telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct utility surveys using a range of survey equipment, including GPR, EML, and GPS.
• Interpret survey data to identify and locate underground utilities and other services.
• Produce high-quality reports and drawings using survey software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Evaluate and maintain accurate records of survey data, including field notes and digital data.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Surveying, Engineering, or Geography.
• Possession of a professional qualification, such as Chartered Surveyor status.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Proficiency in survey software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
