About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our team at Ocho. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with firmware, hardware, and quality assurance engineers to develop, enhance, and test cutting-edge camera technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and test firmware for high-end camera technology
  • Work closely with hardware and quality assurance engineers to ensure seamless integration and testing
  • Develop and maintain software tools and scripts to support firmware development and testing
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in C/C++ software development for Embedded Linux systems
  • Strong understanding of Linux kernel, multi-process/threading, and asynchronous programming
  • Experience with UDP/IP, TCP/IP, and relational databases is a plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and coaching skills
