Disability Support Assistant

What you'll do
As a Disability Support Worker with Alina Homecare, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. You'll be working in Ashford and surrounding areas, providing support and care to individuals with learning disabilities.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Attending appointments - providing emotional support and companionship
- Going to day centres - participating in fun activities and social events
- Social activities - helping clients meet new people and build relationships
- Day trips out - accompanying clients on outings and excursions
- Taking medication - assisting clients with their medication routines
- Preparing meals - helping clients with meal preparation and planning
- Personal Care - supporting clients with personal hygiene and daily routines
- Support with shopping - assisting clients with budgeting, meal planning, and essential shopping
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities. You'll need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
