About the Role

Glenelly Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a highly skilled HSE / SHEQ Advisor to support our business in Kilmarnock. As an HSE / SHEQ Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, support, and governance on all SHEQ-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the SHEQ strategy, ensuring effective communication and engagement across the business.
  • Assist in the promotion and coordination of the local and external audit program, ensuring compliance with HSES regulations and company policies.
  • Provide SHEQ advice and support at an operational level, helping to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with the business to ensure compliance with BMS and SHEQ regulations, providing training and development opportunities as needed.
  • Support the SHEQ upskilling and development of operational teams, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in SHEQ, health and safety, or a related field, with a relevant professional qualification (e.g., NEBOSH or IOSH) or working towards one.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality SHEQ reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
