About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Trainee Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Trainee Forensic Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients, who present with complex mental health needs and a history of offending behaviour.

You will be working in a secure setting, where you will have the opportunity to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate therapeutic interventions. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our services, including the implementation of new programs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in psychology, with a recognized Master's degree in Psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR). They will also have previous experience working in clinical or forensic settings, and be willing to meet professional practice expectations and regulatory body codes of ethics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans for patients
  • Facilitating DBT informed groups and individual therapy sessions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals
  • Providing education and training to staff and patients on relevant topics

Estimated Salary: £32,000 per annum. Benefits include annual leave, pension contributions, life assurance, and career development opportunities.
