Vibe Recruit is a leading recruitment agency, and we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our mechanical equipment.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in carrying out routine and emergency repairs to mechanical equipment. They will also be responsible for maintaining stocks of engineering consumables and carrying out routine testing and inspection of engineering equipment and systems.
Responsibilities- Carry out routine maintenance on plant service equipment, including vessels and cooling towers.
- Maintain stocks of engineering consumables and manage inventory effectively.
- Assist with management of contractors as required.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Basic welding skills and some electrical engineering awareness.
- Full UK driving licence.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
